Jeffrey Hunger, M.A.
I recently completed my master’s degree in experimental psychology at at California State University, Fullerton and am now pursuing a doctoral degree in Social Psychology at UC Santa Barbara.
Broadly, my interests lie in stigma and social identity threat. I am particularly interested in exploring these topics with an eye toward physiological functioning and health.

I am also interested in how the the discourse regarding weight (e.g., public health messages about controllability) influences its stigmatization as well as relevant health maintenance behaviors (e.g., proper nutrition).
